ADVISORY BOARD
The EUHubs4Data Advisory Board (AB) is an independent organ which give their advice and feedback on the main issues of the project, technological and ethical aspects, and advice on relationship with relevant stakeholders. This board gathers recognised specialists and external experts that cover the whole value chain and represent different stakeholders in EUHubs4Data ecosystem.

Jordi Vitrià is a Full Professor at the University of Barcelona (UB), which he joined in 2007, and where he teaches an introductory course on Data Science and advanced courses on Ethical data Science and Deep Learning. He is now a member of the new Mathematics & Computer Science Department at UB. He is also the director of the Master in Fundamental Principles of Data Science and co-director of the Data Science & Machine Learning Postgraduate course at UB. He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed papers and holds several international patents. He has directed 14 PhD theses in the area of machine learning and computer vision. He has been the leader of a large number of research projects at the international and national level.

Professor of innovation, operations and data sciences department, ESADE Business School (RAMON LLULL UNIVERSITY). Professor Cano holds a European doctorate in Business Administration and Management from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Barcelona, Spain), a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s in Business Administration from ESADE; and is a graduate of CPCL from Harvard Business School. Professor Cano has always been linked to information systems projects consultancy, in particular Management Information Systems and Business Analytics, combining his teaching activity with his professional activity.

Fabrizio Magugliani, Strategic Planning and Business Development. Dr. Magugliani oversees the technical computing programs with the goal to develop the next generation of computer architectures for the hybrid era, integrating complex HW equipment, high speed network topologies, the SW ecosystem, storage hierarchies, visualisation devices with the objective to achieve energy efficient, application-oriented systems. His current interests are in the European Processor Initiative and in the TransContinuum Initiative.

Director General of the Swedish National Space Agency with many years of experience in the space industry. With a degree in electrical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology, she has worked since the eighties as a systems engineer, subsystem engineer, technology development manager, business developer and communications director. Anna Rathsman was present when Sweden decided to first build its own scientific satellites and participated in the team that designed and realized the research satellite Freja. After that, Anna also led the work with the first Swedish microsatellite Astrid 1, which was launched in 1995 from a rocket base in Russia. Anna has also sat on the board of several Swedish space technology companies. In addition to her role as Director General of the Swedish National Space Agency Anna has also been chair of the European Space Agency's ESA Council since 2020.
