GENERAL INFORMATION
Public Private People Partnership Digital Innovation Hub – 4PDIH is a national one-stop-shop, which aims to provide, connect and support knowledge, business and technology expertise, technologies, experimental and pilot environments, best practices, tools and methodologies, and other related activities necessary to fully enable the Slovene economy and society in building digital competencies, innovation models and processes, support digital transformation and raise competitive advantages in a holistic and structures way.
THE REGION
4PDIH is located in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. It operates on national level and provides opportunities for international collaboration.
THE ECOSYSTEM
4PDIH is an innovation ecosystem focused on building digital competences and enabling digital transformation for private, public and foremost people-oriented partnerships. It comprises of four important pillars, which combined support digital transformation of Slovenian society and economy.
- Private sector - 4PDIH helps companies to integrate innovative technologies, processes and skills, which support sustainable and robust business models in the context of digitization
- Education – 4PDIH helps educational institutions and organizations, which are dedicated to enhancement of young talents, to participate and proactively acquire new knowledge and skills necessary for understanding and utilization of the rising opportunities in the increasingly digitized world.
- Public sector – 4PDIH advises and assists in the planning and improvement of public services to better respond to the needs of all involved stakeholders. Using data-driven approaches, it enables use of modern techniques to support important strategic decisions.
- Society – 4PDIH connects and empowers communities with enhanced digital tools to strengthen the innovation, organizational and democratic potential of small and large smart communities.
Infrastructures and services
4PDIH is comprised of Innovation labs and provides access to experimental and pilot environments. It offers an ever-increasing set of services, including: digital competence development, joint development of services to support digital transformation in companies, promotion of open-innovation, design and support in implementation of new business models, transfer of good practices and opportunities for collaboration with other DIHs in EU and support to business in managing their digital transformation.
