Data Week 2023: discover the local events

As in the previous editions of the Data Week, the Data-Driven Innovation Hubs of EUHubs4Data contribute to enriching the event with local opportunities around the main programme.

This year, there will be three local events hosted by the partners of the Federation:

EURECAT organises the event “Catalonia’s strategy towards the digital decade and its impact on SMEs” on
8th of June 2023, 17:00 – 19:00 Barcelona, Spain. The workshop will provide some details of what Catalonia’s strategy foresees regarding AI, data spaces, the digital development of the next decade, and the opportunities for SMEs. The workshop will also address how the European Community is positioning itself and what are the drivers in Catalonia regarding Digital Government, Data Infrastructures, Business Opportunities and Needs for qualified professionals.

EGI organises the EOSC DIH Bootcamp on 19th of June 2023, 9:00 – 18:00 Poznan, Poland. The BootCamp welcomes SMEs, spinoffs, startups, and scale-ups to participate and learn, network, and collaborate with other innovators. In the first part of the day, participants will receive a free pitch workshop to help refine their pitches and better communicate their ideas to potential investors, customers, or partners. In the second part of the day, the focus will shift to further improving the EOSC ecosystem through an interactive workshop on combining data-driven innovation and experimentation best to unlock the full potential of the EOSC ecosystem.

ITI plans for an online event titled “What to do to make your data work for you” on June 20, 2023 at 10 AM CEST. The webinar will help understand how the technical solutions developed by ITI have helped industries in Valencia during the different phases of the data lifecycle.
