EUHubs4Data and MyData Global communities connected in Helsinki on June 21-22, when our team joined the MyData 2022 conference with Big Data Value Association. During the event days, the project had an opportunity to introduce how the federation fosters fair and trusted data innovation. EUHubs4Data presented its unique approach to the development of an ethics framework for SMEs and startups and gave examples, of how the project experiments solve real-life social issues. The framework is resulting from BDVA’s long-term approach to fostering fair and trusted data-sharing, shaped by the BDVA i-Spaces.
In the future, the federation is planning to provide tangible assets for the companies, such as mentoring, an ethical sandbox and a handbook. Project findings on the ethics will be published soon – follow the EUHubs4Data website or BDVA.eu for more information!
MyData is an annual conference, focusing on human-centric personal data management. The event is organised by MyData Global. EUHubs4Data congratulates the MyData team for building such an excellent event with such an exciting programme and a warm atmosphere. We are looking forward to future activities together!
