The EUHubs4Data project will have a strong presence at the EBDVF 2021 with 3 sessions that highlight the project’s efforts to become a reference point for the establishment of European Common Data Spaces and boost data-driven innovation as an engine for growth and prosperity in Europe.

We’re very excited to participate! Find out more about our sessions below and why you should join them!

SESSION 1. EUHubs4Data: How to federate data resources to boost companies developing AI Solutions

Wednesday 1st Dec from 10h00 to 11h00

Experimentation with data is a high value-added service that Data Driven Innovation Hubs provide to companies in their ecosystems. For that, computing infrastructure and datasets are needed, as well as data governance models and access to talent and skills. To boost data-driven innovation further, the EUHubs4Data project federates resources of multiple hubs and develops a rich catalogue of services and datasets that bring an added value to companies producing new AI solutions.

Two DIHs of the project will demonstrate this approach in this session, showcasing how the EUH4D services are used to create innovative AI solutions. Check this session to delve into this topic!

SESSION 2. Collaboration to increase the impact: Technical challenges and generated value from European federated data driven initiatives

Friday 3rd Dec from 10h30 to 12h30

What are some challenges in data sharing, data governance and interoperability and how to tackle them in a practical way? The session will show how technology efforts can be efficiently combined in a shared strategy around federated platforms and discuss how this learning path comes to a greater impact on a data-driven economy.

The session will also try to understand how federated data platforms can support European SMEs to access more data and develop better services, thus growing Europe’s data economy. Sounds interesting? Then join us on 3 December, check the session!

SESION 3. Startups and entrepreneurs boosting big data corporate-innovation through DIHs and Data Innovation Spaces (in collaboration with REACH).

Friday 3rd Dec from 13h30 to 15h00

How do Big Data incubators use DIHs and Data Innovation Spaces as sustainable solutions to boost innovation in Europe? Find out from this session, where different approaches represented by DIHs and incubators will be presented. The EUHubs4Data project will be moderating the discussion, that will explore each initiative’s methodology, as well as their outcomes, lessons learnt and identified barriers. Additionally, an invited DIH or company from each incubator will be speaking to illustrate the carried-out work. Do you want to find our more? Then check the session and register now!
