Strategic and Specific R&D is CeADAR’s primary function in a variety of verticals developing applied research products.

SERVICE DESCRIPTION

  • One of CeADAR’s main focuses is to develop bespoke solutions that leverage recent outputs from academia.
  • CeADAR’s areas of expertise include: AI and Advanced Machine Learning solutions, Predictive Analytics, Computer Vision, Text Analytics, Big Data, Blockchain, Continuous Learning and Deep Learning applied to multiple verticals (e.g. healthcare, cybersecurity, ...).
  • These solutions are tailor made for specific companies or members in specific domains, on real data, and can benefit from this service as it is a means of bridging the gap between academia and industry.

CASE EXAMPLES

An example of this is past collaboration between CeADAR and a top organization in the Energy industry in Ireland & the UK, where bespoke work was carried out to develop an AI predictive solution to meet the the new regulations introduced into the wind energy sector. This involved using data architecting and machine learning techniques to develop a cutting-edge AI R&D solution, while providing training to some of their staff in the relevant AI tools & technologies.
