This service provides access to the available dataset. At the moment:
- Mistral weather data (observed and forecast)
- AIDA astronomical simulations data

SUCCESS STORY
The University of Bologna uses our Datacenter Monitoring Data to implement ExaMon, a Scalable, Modular and Lightweight Monitoring Framework for supporting fine-grain and accurate monitoring of power/energy/thermal and architectural parameters in distributed and large-scale high-performance computing installations. The Italy Flash Flood use case is being implemented with the collaboration of the Centre of Excellence ECMWF leveraging HPC-based postprocessing of global ensemble forecasts, specifically forecasts of rainfall.
MISTRAL portal facilitates the re-use of the meteorological datasets by the weather community, as well as by its cross-area communities, to provide added value services through the use of HPC resources, turning it into the level of new business opportunities. Other use cases here.
The database of genomic variants of peach is of interest in the domain of agriculture for the improvement of cultivated species, taking advantage of the computation on a large number of samples using HPC resources and integrating genotypic and phenotypic data.
