With the Data Product/Service Design, the customer receives a detailed concept, tailored to the customer's needs and characteristics, on the basis of which a data-driven product and/or service can be systematically implemented.
Within the framework of Data Product/Service Design, concrete data-driven products and/or services are conceptualized. The starting point is the Data Product/Service Canvas developed by the Know-Center as well as the Service Blueprinting (Service Blueprinting is a method for analysis, visualization and optimization of service processes). The Data Product Blueprint aims at identifying, processing, aggregating, etc. data (sources) in order to generate a specific customer benefit or to satisfy a customer need. A Data Product is relevant for more than one user, is produced with predictable quality, is produced or goes through a production process, is managed within a product life cycle and serves a market.
